Martha A. Norris, M.D. Joins Radsource

Brentwood, TN - December 7, 2009 - Radsource is pleased to announce the addition of Martha A. Norris, M.D. to its highly qualified professional staff. "Dr. Norris has superb training and has distinguished herself as an excellent clinical musculoskeletal radiologist with almost 20 years of experience. She shares Radsource's commitment to quality and service, and we are thrilled to add Dr. Norris to our dedicated group of radiologists", stated Radsource Medical Director, Dr. Michael Stadnick. Please take a moment to review the following short biography of Dr. Norris.

Martha A. Norris, M.D. attended medical school at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, South Dakota, Dr. Norris performed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She then completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of California, San Diego, under the direction of Donald Resnick, MD.

Following her radiology training, Dr. Norris entered academic practice at the University of Wisconsin. During her 11 year tenure, she earned the title of Associate Professor of Radiology, before moving to private practice for the last 8 years. In both academic and private practice, Dr. Norris garnered a reputation as an expert musculoskeletal radiologist and was a valued and highly sought-after clinical consultant to the orthopaedic community. Dr. Norris has served as a reviewer for the academic journal Skeletal Radiology. In addition she has authored over 20 journal articles and scientific exhibits and has been invited to speak at numerous national conferences.

Dr. Norris resides with her son, Grant, in Traverse City, Michigan. She enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and gardening.
