Alice B. Viroslav, M.D. brings 14 years of experience as a leading authority in neuroradiology. Dr. Viroslav received dual BAs in biology and psychology from Southern Methodist University, where she graduated Cum Laude. Following medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Dr. Viroslav performed her radiology residency at Emory University, serving as Chief Resident in her fourth year. She then completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at Emory University. Dr. Viroslav holds the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology and is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.

After completing her training, Dr. Viroslav accepted a position with South Texas Radiology Group in San Antonio, Texas, where she helped develop a high volume in-patient and outpatient neuroradiology practice, including brain, head/neck, and spine MR. Despite her numerous clinical duties, Dr. Viroslav became highly active in the San Antonio community, receiving the Joel A. Toubin Community Relations Council Award in 2002 and the Sylvia F. and Harry Sugerman Young Leadership Award in 2004. Dr. Viroslav serves on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federations of North America and as President of the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research, an organization she co-founded in 2002. Dr. Viroslav has three children and resides in San Antonio with her husband Sergio Viroslav, a highly regarded orthopaedic surgeon.
