Pamela H. Burdett, M.D. has extensive experience as a musculoskeletal radiologist and interpreter of MR. Dr. Burdett completed a musculoskeletal fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, following a radiology residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital (The University Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell), a general surgery internship at North Shore University Hospital on Long Island, and a clinical research year at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, which led to multiple publications. She has an M.D. from the University of Rochester and an M.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, where she was the Maude Fife Fellow in English Literature. She received her B.A. cum laude from Yale University.
Before joining Radsource, Dr. Burdett served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she lectured in musculoskeletal MR and was esteemed both as a clinical radiologist and a resident educator. In addition, Dr. Burdett was a senior musculoskeletal radiologist in a large multi-specialty radiology practice, where she was instrumental in managing protocols for MR examinations performed on nine different magnets. She established herself as a trusted consultant to multiple physician practices during her six-year tenure in Virginia and gained vast experience interpreting MR, both onsite and via teleradiology, from seven area hospitals. Dr. Burdett maintains diverse interests, including dressage, sailboat racing and soprano solo singing.
