William N. Snearly, M.D. has unique experience and abilities in the field of musculoskeletal radiology. Prior to completing his radiology residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident, Dr. Snearly completed 2 years of an orthopaedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. As a result, Dr. Snearly possesses keen insight into the orthopaedic pathologies that he now detects with Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Dr. Snearly attended college at the United States Air Force Academy, where he was a distinguished graduate (equivalent to Magna Cum Laude). He performed his medical school training at the State University of New York in Syracuse, New York and his internship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Snearly's Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship was performed at the renowned program of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Prior to joining Radsource, Dr. Snearly served as a Clinical Instructor in Radiology at the University of Virginia Health Science Center and as Chief of Orthopaedic Radiology at Wilford Hall Medical Center. Dr. Snearly then spent five years in private practice, during which time he performed high volume musculoskeletal imaging with an emphasis on MRI. Dr. Snearly has contributed multiple peer-reviewed articles to the musculoskeletal radiology literature and has presented his findings at national meetings of both radiologists and orthopaedic surgeons.
